Home Again

I'm back from visiting family & friends in Tennessee. Let me tell you, it was hot, hot, hot & humid there!

I love blogging because I can write a short snippet about my day and then look back and see what I've been up to all month.

Now that I'm home and have the opportunity to share what I did for six days... I'm drawing a blank. So I'll just share a few things.

  • visiting with Mom, Dad, Nanny, the Robinson clan, and other friends. It's so lovely to see friends I haven't seen in two years and feel like I had just seen them yesterday. Just picking up from where we left off and start laughing together.
  • having my Nanny admire my knitting and having her hug me so closely and kiss me so often.
  • Mayfield milk
  • Chik-fil-A
  • McKays bookstore. The best bookstore ever! Where they buy your VHS tapes, DVD's, books, and audiobooks for great prices and give you cash or credit for their store. I took a suitcase of old movies and came back with a suitcase of new books and movies.
  • hearing a story about mice, followed by a story about possums, followed by a story about cows. I laughed so hard water almost shot out of my nose. Yep... it's the South!
  • the interesting discussion about which is harder to kill - a tofu or a soy

  • the friggin' humidity
  • arguments and the drama, drama, drama
  • eating at weird times
  • restaurants that are smoking/non-smoking (in Oregon, all restaurants are non-smoking).
  • the mosquito bite I got on my left cheek (of my face).

That's all I can think of now. I'll update you on my knitting progress later.

We are so happy you are home. We missed you!!! I can't wait to hear all about the tofu vs. soy debate. :)
